Groups gather—as colleagues, family, or friends—for all sorts of reasons: to work, learn, celebrate, create, mourn, or to support each other. When groups gather to accomplish a sharedpurpose, achieving their common goal is easier if they use strong collaborating skills. Workingwell with others requires shifting from an individual lens to a shared perspective, socollaborating requires a special blend of noticing oneself, noticing other individuals, andnoticing the interactions among the group.
