Calculus for Science and Engineering
This is the equivalent of a first-year Calculus course that I teach on a regular basis to Science and Engineering students at Carleton University in Canada. Among the topics covered: Limits. Differentiation of the elementary functions. Rules of differentiation. Inverse trigonometric functions. Applications of differentiation: max-min problems, curve sketching, approximations. Definite and indefinite integrals, techniques of integration. Applications: area, volume, centres of mass, moments of inertia.
