DD Courses Overview
Darakht-e Danesh Courses (DD Courses) is our asynchronous course platform that allows learners to take full courses at their own pace. A variety of subjects are offered in three languages: Dari, Pashto, and English. We are expanding our courses to meet the needs of Afghans, including new professional development courses for displaced Afghans.
After enrolling in a course, learners can take the course according to their schedule, complete practice activities and assessment exercises as they work through modules, and earn a certificate upon completing their course. Courses include full semester-length university-level courses, short professional development courses, life skills topics, and more.

Asynchronous courses offer several benefits, including:

Learners can access course materials and complete quizzes at their own pace, allowing them to balance their studies with other commitments such as work, family, or personal interests. - Accessibility
Asynchronous courses remove barriers such as time zone differences, making learning accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds and locations. - Personalization
Learners have the flexibility to review content as many times as needed, pause and repeat lessons, attempt quizzes for unlimited number of times and engage with course materials in a way that suits their learning style, enhancing comprehension and retention. - Studying Offline
Students have the option to save the entire course offline using the Moodle app, allowing them to study without an internet connection, with some conditions applying. - Obtaining Certification
Our courses offer automatic certification upon completion, acknowledging learners’ achievements. Certification is awarded based on fulfilling course requirements, including completing all lesson activities and scoring above 70% in quizzes.

I can’t enroll in the course.
- Have you registered for DD Courses yet? If not, you can register yourself by visiting our registration page and once your account is ready, try enrolling yourself again.
- Check if your desired course is available for public registration.
How to register on DD Courses?
You can click on the button below to access the registration page. Once you open the link, please scroll down on the page, then click on the “Create new account” button. Fill in your details and submit the registration form. Once you confirm your account, you can login and register into any course that is available to you.
Alternatively, you can use your Google or Facebook account to login or register on our website. Click on the Google or Facebook Icons below the username & password fields.
How do I connect with my teacher?
Darakht-e Danesh Courses are asynchronous and do not offer online teaching.
Can I download course materials and contents?
Yes. You can download the entire course offline with the help of our Moodle mobile application.
Are Darakht-e Danesh Courses free?
Yes. Darakht-e Danesh Courses platform is free for everyone.
In which courses can I enroll in right now?
You can see the list of all available courses in your site homepage once you register and log in.
I am facing technical issues in this course.
Yes. You can download the entire course offline with the help of our Moodle mobile application.
Is the course in English only?
No. Almost all of our courses are in three languages, Dari, Pashto, and English. You can change your course language by clicking on your profile picture and then clicking on language option.
I have lost my username/password. What should I do?
Please reset your password by navigating to our password reset page. Once opened, search your account by your username or email address then click on search button.
If you provide the correct details, you will receive a password reset link in your email inbox.
How to check my grades?
Login to your DD courses account from a computer, then open your course and navigate to the grades tab.
I have completed the course, how can I get my certificate?
You can get your certificate from the course certificate section or from your email inbox after you successfully complete the course and meet the certification requirements stated on the course overview.
I finished the course, but I can’t find my certificate.
Check the course overview for certification requirements to learn more about the lessons, quizzes, or surveys you need to complete. If you have completed all of them and are still unable to receive your certificate, then contact our support.
My name is written incorrectly on the certificate.
You can edit your profile and change your details as per your legal documents. This will also change your name on your new certificate. Remember to get your new certificate in the course certification section after you change your name.
